In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 business apps on the Android platform in South America displayed diverse performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Zoom Workplace experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from approximately $5.2K at the end of March and peaking at around $10.1K in mid-June. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend from 424K at the beginning of the quarter to 341K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, starting at 5.6M and ending the quarter at 4.8M.
Microsoft Teams observed a significant drop in weekly downloads, from 321K in late March to 247K at the end of June. Active users also saw a slight decline, starting at 1.5M and ending the quarter at approximately 1.4M.
Google Meet (original) witnessed a consistent decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 232K and ending at 171K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 3.1M and decreasing to about 2.6M by the end of the quarter.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a rise in weekly downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 188K at the end of May, before dropping to 104K by the end of June. Active users grew from 1.2M in late March to approximately 1.3M by the end of June.
Minha Claro Móvel showed fluctuating downloads, with a peak of 179K in early April and a low of 113K in late May. Active users increased from 1.8M at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 1.9M by the end of June.
